Since We’re Talking About: Failing (At Hallmark Holidays)

FLASHBACK: March 17, 2013

Doug: “So why was there a leprechaun in our house this morning?”

Me: “leprechaun’s always come to little kids on Saint Paddy’s Day. It’s my family’s tradition. They turn your toys upside down and leave green pee in the toilet. But with every trick they leave a treat: mostly small toys and chocolate gold coins. What- a leprechaun never visited your family?”

Doug: “you mean a tiny, tricksy little white dude who breaks into your house and fucks shit up? We call those robbers. Or bankers. So, either way, no.”

We’re getting the hang of Saint Patty’s Day here, folks. Slowly but surely.
